Today this blog is three years old. My journal was something private at first but since I shared it here it has been much more fun since I have come into contact with many inspiring people, like Shari, Gracia+Louise, Sia, Claire, Irene, Loraine, Trudi, Carolyn, Danielle, Babelfish, Anne, Jessica, Abigail, Maditi, Veronica, Lotte, Sabine, Lisa and I could go on.

For this occasion I have a little gift to give. It's a print (silksreen and gaufrage, edition of 20, one has made its way to Australia yet) of an illustration I did for my snake book, that is finished in a couple of weeks. It's the illustration for the page: "Je lui ai répondu: en échange de ce poison, donnez-moi un peu de cette nuit froide et bleue."

And I have a little favor to ask too. I have been thinking for quite some time now about the name of this blog. Three years ago I wanted to start a little bakery and that's why I chose this name, but for a long time it does not feel right at all. Plus, in France it has become a total nightmare to spell it. Also, the project Traces with my father has continued. We will have an exhibition with new work in May, so by then the traces.nl will be up too. I might also post there. But I am also thinking of continueing under my own name. I just really don't know and thought, I'll ask you. Any comments on this are appreciated!
